At Community Grapevines, we are dedicated to empowering individuals and fostering strong, resilient communities. Our programs are designed to support returning citizens, at-risk youth, students, and seniors through targeted services and resources.

Returning Citizens Support

We provide comprehensive support for individuals re-entering society after incarceration, helping them rebuild their lives and thrive. Our services include:

  • Career Guidance & Training: Skill-building workshops and certifications.
  • Reintegration Support: Assistance with housing, employment, and mental health services.
  • Family Reunification: Resources to reconnect and strengthen family bonds.
  • Assisting with obtaining important documents: Insurance, drivers licenses, state IDs, Social Security Cards and food stamps when needed.

At-Risk Youth Services

Empowering youth to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential through:

  • Mentorship Programs: One-on-one and group mentoring.
  • Life Skills Training: Building confidence, Financial Literacy, critical thinking, and self-advocacy.
  • Support Networks: Connecting youth with supportive community resources.

Youth Programming with Schools

Partnering with schools to offer enriching programs that keep students engaged, including:

  • Alternative Education Paths: Customized educational plans for unique needs.
  • Career Exploration: Introducing students to various trades and career paths.
  • Workshops & Panels: Interactive sessions on leadership, entrepreneurship, and goal-setting.

Senior Programming / Senior Services

Promoting active, healthy, and fulfilling lives for seniors through:

  • Wellness Initiatives: Health education, fitness, nutrition and preventative care.
  • Social Engagement: Group activities, community events, and support groups.
  • Technology support with smartphones, tablets, and computers for communication and entertinment. 

Trade Assistance Programs

Helping individuals gain skills and certifications in various trades, including:

  • Vocational Training: Hands-on training in fields like HVAC, construction, cosmetology, IT, and more.
  • Certification Support: Guidance to obtain professional certifications.

  • Assistance: Connecting participants with employers and opportunities.
